  From your letter, I know Thanksgiving and Christmas well. I love Christmas very much. Christmas is the biggest festival in the US, the UK and most other English speaking countries. It is on the 25^th of December. People do lots of things on that day. People put Christmas trees in their homes. Many people put lots of lights outside their houses. People give presents and send cards. People sing Christmas songs. Children will get presents from Santa Claus. People love Christmas a lot.

  In China, we have many traditional festivals. The Dragon Boat Festival is very important for Chinese people. It is on the 5^th of May. We eat zongzi and eggs. We also row the dragon boats on this day. We usually have a competition. And that is why we call it “ the Dragon Boat Festival.” We love it .
